Roxanna Godinez | CA DRE# 01137955
In 1990, Roxanna Godinez came to the United States from Guatemala to work as an administrative assistant for a small aerospace manufacturer. As the aerospace sector diminished, she was determined to realize the American dream. She started in the business during a recession three decades ago, specializing in foreclosures and government-owned houses on the southeast side of Los Angeles. Roxanna’s work experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac gave her an in-depth understanding of the foreclosure process, along the way she met and learned from some savvy investors how to bring a house back to its old glory, and her love for real estate and redesigning started there. She reached out to the community by demonstrating the value of home ownership to first-time buyers and offering seminars in local churches.
Roxanna speaks Spanish and English fluently, with some knowledge of French and Italian. Over the years she migrated her business from the Southeast to the Westside and finally found her heart in the center of Los Angeles, Downtown, just when the center was finally beginning to be revitalized, setting her hub there since 1997. She loves to bring her appreciation for the buzzing and energy of the urban jungle with its mixture of skyscrapers and turn-of-the-century high-rises that are downtown for those clients looking for something different. Throughout her career, she has met so many wonderful people and the moments and experience they have provided while helping them find the right place has cemented her career and enriched it too.
Many of those relationships have been cultivated into great friendships, and many of those relationships have trusted her to assist them with their real estate needs in all parts of Los Angeles. She still calls DTLA her home which she shares with her kitty-cat Nino and looks at the future expanding her market into the surrounding areas of downtown as well.
